Who am I? Hmmm...where do I start? I'm a middle-aged, married mother of three. I have recently graduated from school, and I now possess a BS in Biology that apparently isn't impressive enough to gain employment.
I'm not always sure of myself and as a result I am not the most confident of people...but I have gotten pretty good at faking it.
I don't always say the right things and I have a tendency to laugh when I shouldn't.
I try not to give my guardian angel grief, although I'm pretty sure he has his hands full when it comes to me. Yes, I believe have a guardian angel--although admittedly I've never seen or heard him. Oh, and I call him Riley.
Finally, I firmly believe that chocolate is the key to world peace.
Being a mere mortal, I enjoy reading stories about beings that are not. I've recently discovered Gena Showalter's 'Lords of the Underworld' series. I honestly can't decide which demon possessed (yes, you heard me) Lord I like best so, clearly the whore that I am, I've decided to love each and everyone of them.
I am also a huge fan of Nalini Singh's Guild Hunter novels. They feature guardian angels, but not in the classical sense. Her angels are powerful, power hungry creatures that create vampires out of a necessity to survive. They are also impossibly beautiful and sexually potent. You have to read her books to understand, but I promise it'll be worth it. If I could actually hear Riley, I'm sure he'd be in stitches over the depictions of angels in her novels.
Last but not least (because there are more), I am not mildly obsessed with Mary Hughe's vampires in her 'Biting Love' novels. There are four so far, and I'm trying (and failing) to wait patiently for her to produce another. Nikos and Logan are my favs, although the romance whore in me finds it hard not to love Bo and Julian as well. There's just something about a lovesick alpha male vampire with endless stamina and a voracious sexual appetite that appeals to me. I'm just saying...
If I haven't scared you enough already, feel free to come back and read more. Until then, make sure each minute of your mortal existence counts.
