My husband and I were driving home one evening and this was what the sky looked like. My appreciation for the beauty in nature comes from my dad. As far back as I can remember, he could be heard saying things like "What a sunset. Look at that...God that's beautiful." I remember that I would look, and concentrate really hard on what it was that awed him so. Then, I understood. There is something about a breath-stealing sunset that is soul-calming to me. Some of my mortal brethren use the saying "Stop and smell the roses". I prefer "Stop and observe the sunset"...or sunrise for that matter.
Until next time, make every minute (and sunset) count.
